SINGAPORE, 29 May 2019 - The Proteona team would like to congratulate Prof. Gene Yeo, the scientific co-founder, for winning the first Xconomy Award San Diego for Big Ideas. The winners of Xconomy Award San Diego represent the top talent in life sciences and healthtech in San Diego.

Prof. Gene Yeo is a Professor of Cellular and Molecular Medicine in the University of California San Diago, and a visiting professor at the National University of Singapore. His research interest covers multiple areas including gene expression, computational biology, and genomics. Besides Proteona, he has been involved in several biotech start-up companies that are bringing new technologies from the lab to application.
